Goodbye Sugar

The only pet I've ever owned had to be put down this morning. Her liver was failing, her cardiovascular system was shutting down, and she could barely breathe yesterday. My dad took her to the vet this morning and made the decision to have her put down.

For the past 14 years, our cat Sugar has been such a joy. I'll miss her greatly. If I can find a picture, I'll try to post it for those who didn't know her.

Sorry to hear of the loss. A very sad moment I'm sure. It is always a hard choice to put down a pet. As sad as it may be, sometimes it is the best thing to do if the pet is suffering. I always wished that pets could live as long as we did. You get so attached to them. It's sad.

I'm sorry to hear about that. I know it's tough, I had to make the decision to put down our three-month-old puppy last September and it was the most difficult thing I've ever had to do.
